Before partnering with SHED, every vehicle undergoes a suitability assessment to ensure it meets our operational and safety standards. These requirements help protect your asset, support reliable performance, and provide the best possible experience for both owners and drivers. Our goal is to build partnerships on a strong and dependable foundation.

Is Your Vehicle Eligible?

Vehicle Age

Vehicles should generally be 2014 model or newer to meet platform standards and ensure a reliable experience for passengers.

Mechanical Condition

Your vehicle must be mechanically sound, well-maintained, and safe for daily operation, with no major mechanical faults.

Appearance & Interior

Vehicles should have a clean, well-presented exterior and interior, free from significant damage, excessive wear, or missing components.

Licensing & Compliance

The vehicle must have a valid licence disc, be roadworthy, and comply with all applicable legal and operational requirements.

Important Information

All partner vehicles are required to have comprehensive e-hailing insurance for the duration of the partnership.
Insurance remains the responsibility of the vehicle owner and must be maintained at all times.
As the vehicle will be used for commercial e-hailing operations, premiums may be higher than standard private vehicle insurance.
SHED will gladly assist owners in obtaining suitable e-hailing insurance quotations and guidance where required.
